Terms of use

These terms govern your use of Photo Lens (the "service"), operated by Agur, S.A., based in Guatemala. By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms and the privacy policy.

1. What Photo Lens is

Photo Lens lets a group collect the photos of a trip or event: each participant uploads their photos, the organizer can run a contest by category with voting, and show a slideshow. Each event is created and managed by an organizer, who decides who gets in and what is shown.

2. Account

• You sign in with your email and a code we send you; we don't use passwords.
• You're responsible for what happens with your account and for keeping access to your email secure.
• You must be at least 13, or the minimum age required by law in your country.
• You can delete your account at any time from "My profile".

3. Your content

The photos, text and names you upload remain yours. You give us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store them, process them (for example, resize them) and show them to the people who have access to the event, only to provide the service. That license ends when you delete the content or your account.

You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload and that the people in your photos agree to appear. The organizer is responsible for getting consent from parents or guardians for photos of minors.

4. Prohibited content

We do not tolerate, under any circumstances:

• Sexual content involving minors.
• Illegal or violent content, hate speech, or content that harasses or threatens others.
• Nudity or sexually explicit content.
• Spam, unsolicited advertising or impersonation.
• Content that infringes copyright or other third-party rights.

We may remove such content and suspend or close the accounts that post it, without notice, and report it to the authorities when the law requires.

5. Reports, blocking and moderation

• You can report any photo from the photo viewer. The event admins receive the report.
• You can block a user to stop seeing their photos.
• Each event's admins can hide or delete photos and remove participants. Photo Lens also reviews reports and acts within a reasonable time, usually within 24 hours.
• For urgent reports, email dev@agur.com.gt.

6. Event licenses

• Creating an event requires a license, bought per event (or in plans announced later).
• Licenses are non-refundable, except if you delete the event before any photo is uploaded; in that case the license returns to your account for another event.
• If you buy inside a native app, the store's terms (Apple or Google) also apply.

7. Availability

We do our best to keep the service available and your photos safe, but it is provided "as is". We recommend keeping your originals. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or loss of content.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. If the change is significant, we'll ask you to accept them again when you sign in.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Guatemala.
